Drew this from a wonderful photo by the Sartorialist from the recent NY fashion show. The drapery, dress was what attracted me initially but I got distracted by the bare back.
After seeing a photo of the marble sculpture The Ecstacy of Saint Theresa by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, I had the urge to fly to Rome. Again I was attracted by the drapery but this time it was so complicated with shadows and folds that I ended up not drawing it haha... I wonder how the artist sculped it, it's totally awesome!! Btw my drawing is totally off from the original work haha, I changed the angel to a demon and the lady to a heap with a face:p

Came across The Story of Stuff, by Annie Leonard, via Sinema.sg. It covers things we may already know and other things we thought we knew ranging from environmental health to equity to the the process and loops of consumerism. It's even labeled by some as un-american. I actually finished watching the clip so thought you might like to click on it too.
Amazing view of a familiar Singapore site by Tia via Urban Sketchers Singapore. I wonder if those random and quick colourful blots in the sky are deliberate or "accidents" while sketching outdoor? Either way they sure add alot to the whole vibrant mood of the picture. It's colours and lines like this that always give me the urge to sketch, sketch, sketch...
